This is ownership marking for books. The buyer is a reader with a collection worth claiming, a teacher whose classroom library keeps walking out the door, a librarian running a lending shelf, or someone buying a gift for any of the three. The two traditional imprints are Ex Libris and From the Library of, and both appear in our range. The Desk Library Embosser and Desk Book Embosser are $44.95, with a sturdy metal base that produces impressions with less effort than the pocket seals, a black finish, a sliding locking mechanism and the same 1-1/2″ reach. Their paper rating is higher: one sheet of 20 to 24 lb, or up to 40 lb for light cardstock and envelopes. The Hybrid Book Embosser, Hybrid Library Embosser and Pink Hybrid Library Embosser are $44.95 and combine pocket portability with desk ease, clicking audibly when the impression has been made properly.
Gift desk book and library embossers
Finish and felt base, at $129.95 each: the Gold Gift Library Embosser, Gold Gift Book Embosser, Chrome Gift Library Embosser, Chrome Gift Book Embosser, Black Gift Library Embosser, Black Gift Book Embosser, Pink Gift Library Embosser and Pink Gift Book Embosser. Long Reach and Extended Long Reach library presses
For embossing into the middle of a page rather than near an edge, which matters on a large format book or a certificate. The Long Reach Desk Book Embosser and Long Reach Desk Library Embosser are $129.95 with a 2-1/2″ reach. The Extended Long Reach Desk Book Embosser and Extended Long Reach Desk Library Embosser are $189.95 with a 4-1/2″ reach, enough to reach the center of an 8-1/2″ wide page, and both include an adjustable paper guide. Both tiers accommodate paper stock of up to 60 lbs, which is the heaviest rating in the hand operated range.
Cast iron book and library embossers
The Cast Iron Book Embosser and Cast Iron Library Embosser are $329.95 and are described as the most heavy duty seal offered. They reach about 2.5 inches from the edge of a page, come in 16 styles, and carry two lines of text at 26 characters each. The Cast Iron Book Embosser states a choice of an image plus two lines of text; the finish is polished cast iron, meant to sit out on a desk or bookshelf.

Embossing seals for books and libraries are round and measure 1-5/8″ in diameter as standard with a 2″ upgrade, stated on the Handheld Library Embosser and repeated across the Desk, Gift, Long Reach, Extended Long Reach and Cast Iron versions. Reach, the separate measurement, is 1-1/2″ on handheld, soft seal, hybrid, desk and gift models, 2-1/2″ on the Long Reach and Cast Iron models, and 4-1/2″ on the Extended Long Reach models. Ink and colors

A stamped bookplate is fast and legible.
