Some States REQUIRE the use of an Inked Stamp, however there are notaries that prefer to use both the embossed seal in conjunction with their inked stamp. We DO NOT assume any liabilities for using the incorrect notary tool for your notarizations, along with selecting a style that will not conform with your state board. Again, if you are unsure, please check with your state board or refer to your notary manual before placing an order.

When Ordering your embossing seal the orientation refers to what direction on the sheet of paper the embosser comes in from. We have an equal number of requests for Top and Bottom orientation. Embosser Orientation is what direction of the page you would like the insert to imprint from. Choosing a TOP ORIENTATION is for when you want your embossed image to come from the TOP of the page for example in the use of stationary applications. BOTTOM ORIENTATION will imprint from the bottom of the page, for example if you were embossing Envelope Flaps with an Address Embosser - you want to select a Bottom Orientation. Same is true for a LEFT or RIGHT Side Orientation.

Important Information About Your Pennsylvania Notary Public Seal

A Pennsylvania notary stamp must be rubber, no more than 1 inch by 3.5 inches, and it must show six items in a mandated order. Nothing may be abbreviated except a name suffix, which is why the state allows such a wide stamp.
